********50TH REUNION******** Yes, it's almost that time! 50 years ago we were well into our Senior year at U-High, so now it's time to look forward to celebrating with a 50th Reunion! The planning has started! A few of our class members (Sue Hyde Jones, Susan Hodge Hoover and David Mette) attended the Class of 1961 50th reunion on Homecoming weekend this fall, and while we were in Normal we held a kick-off planning breakfast for next year attended by a total of ten 1962 classmates. Besides the three mentioned above, Shery Scheets Doran, Ed Doran, Herb Honn, Bob Humenick, Gene Lee, Shari West Golden and Stephanie White Baker were all there, and all volunteered to be part of making our 50th a fun, memorable and affordable event! Others (Bary Marquardt and Orval Yarger) were unable to be there but have also offered valuable help. The major decision we made was to hold our 50th Reunion on Homecoming Weekend, which is September 21-22, 2012. Those classmates for whom we have contact info will shortly receive (either via email or snail mail) a note from Sue Hyde Jones giving more detail. Meanwhile, SAVE THE DATE!! Do we have current contact info for you? Check the Alumni List button at the right and use the Add Alumni button to make any corrections. The "committee" (if you want to call it that) is informal, and welcomes new members at any time. Also, please add any suggestions you may have that will help us plan a reunion that will attract YOU!
